16 Sep 09 Mary Travers Dies
Mary Travers, the person responsible for the female harmony of Peter, Paul and Mary, has died. Ms. Travers had been fighting leukemia for the past few years.
The trio was part of the giant folk movement of the early 1960s. Their works have been sited as influences of many Texas musicians for the past 40 years.
