Most people would not consider him a Texas music performer. But Meat Loaf, the rock legend who grew up in Dallas better known as Michael Lee Aday, will return to his home town to perform at the House of Blues on August 26.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10am.
Two nights later, on August 28, the singer will perform at the House of Blues in Houston.
Meat Loaf is famous for his “Bat Out of Hell” trilogy, which included the hit song “Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad.” He was also part of the cult movie classic, Rocky Horror Picture Show. He has a new album tied to his concert appearances, “Hang Cool Teddy Bear.”
