MilkDrive, Austin’s phenomenal jazz-grass band, is releasing its second studio album, WAVES, today.

After a CD release show at Austin’s famed Cactus Café, MilkDrive kicks off an extensive national tour. The band will make stops at a number of celebrated venues, including historic Gruene Hall in Gruene, Texas, the Blue Door in Oklahoma City, and the Yellowstone Brewing Company in Billings, Montana. The band will also be appearing at a number of festivals, including Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival and Yarmonygrass.
WAVES was recorded at Mountainside Audio Labs in Nashville and was produced by Bil VornDick (Alison Krauss, Bela Fleck).
After touring in the northeastern U.S. this fall, MilkDrive will be back in Nashville, performing an official showcase at IBMA’s World of Bluegrass.
