I always get a kick when I see a reference to Texas music and musicians in other parts of the country.  The term “Texas music” comes sometimes too naturally for those of us in the state. But when you realize you never hear anyone refer to “Oregon music” or “Idaho music,” you realize just how special we have it in the Lone Star state.
