Music City Texas Theater is preparing for its annual summer bluegrass show with Hickory Hill and their special guests on August 20. Hickory Hill, who celebrated their 30th Anniversary here at MCTT two years ago, features John Early, guitar; Bob Stegall, bass; Wes Perry, Banjo; and Michael Morrison, guitar and mandolin. One of the finest banjoists in the country, Russell Sparks from the popular group Louisiana Grass, has agreed to sit in as Michael has a previous commitment that evening. Along with Russell will be Hickory Hill’s good friend Mike Powell and
also Wes’ daughter Leah Perry from Blue River. John Early of MCTT said, “This will be a special show. There is no telling what might happen.
