ey now count as friends and invite to share their talents with MCTT audiences. It feels a great deal like a family gathering when these shows come around. This year, April Rapier and Bob Oldreive, a founding member of Houston’s Dogtooth Violet, bring an eclectic mix of folk, jazz, bluegrass and country to the summer show. Their current band, Sugar Bayou, has released three cd’s, including 2010’s Lucky Life, produced by the legendary Lloyd Maines. This will also be a very special night for Hickory Hill.
