Texas music star Sarah Jaffe is on a hot streak. She plans for it to continue, with the April 24 release of her next full-length studio album, “The Body Wins.”
The album is being produced by John Congleton. It is the follow to her critically accla
imed debut, “Suburban Nature.”
As Jaffe gears up for the release of “The Body Wins,” she will perform across the United States for the next two months. She started last Sunday on the Camayo Cruise, with Lucinda Williams, Rhett Miller, and The Civil Wars. On Feb. 22, Jaffe will head to New York for a special show at the Mercury Lounge. Then she will go to the West Coast for a handful of dates with Guthrie.
Finally, Jaffe will return to Texas for South by Southwest.
