Dierks Bentley will play a show in Fort Worth on April 25 as part of his Miles & Music benefit series. The concert will take place at Billy Bob’s Texas nightclub, with five more artists on the bill to be announced at a later date.
The event will also feature a celebrity motorcycle ride. All of the proceeds will be given to the Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and the Cook Children’s Medical Center in Forth Worth. Tickets go on sale March 1.
Bentley teamed up with Nationwide Insurance, CMT One Country and the Children’s Miracle Network to take Miles & Music for Kids to six cities between 2009 and 2010. The event has raised more than $1 million since its inception in 2006.
In other news, Dierks performed an acoustic tribute to Brooks & Dunn earlier this week at the 2010 Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Nashville. The singer performed the tribute as the retiring duo were presented with the Country Radio Broadcasters’ Career Achievement Award.
